As part of the new exhibition at Sunny Bank Mills – Material Matters (supported with funding from Arts Council England) I have been invited to deliver a one day workshop.

Participants will create their own hand cast jesmonite art using moulds they will have made from mill artifact and the surface of the mill buildings.

This is an explorative and experimental workshop where you will learn about jesmonite, a lightweight eco alternative to concrete, to create your own single use clay mould, cast jesmonite and finish the piece.
